  1. 1991 Freedom 38

    About this Sailboat:

    Free Time is a lovely and updated version of the classic Gary Mull designed Freedom Cat Sloop. Known to be a stiff, weatherly, and well balanced, this Freedom 38 has been to Venezuela and back proving her ocean cruising capabilities. The famous free standing carbon fiber mast and sail plan provides excellent performance with ultimate short-handed ease of sailing: As Freedom Yacht’s founder Garry Hoyt often said, Freedoms are “Swift, Safer, and Simpler.” Free Time was awarded the category A1 Offshore capable plaque by ABS when built.

    Free Time was owned by a Venezuelan who sailed her from RI and cruised the Caribbean. Her current owner has been chartering her in local New England waters since he bought her and every year makes improvements. Free Time has a pretty interior with varnished Ash bulkheads and Teak moldings and frames. Varnished teak and holly sole adds the traditional touch while white laminate cabin house sides and blue Ultrasuede fabrics make the interior bright and cheerful.

    Well outfitted, Free Time has the shoal wing keel for 4′ draft. A new Yanmar diesel was installed in 2003, and the mounts, shaft, cutlass bearing, coupling, and dripless shaft seal were all replaced 2012! GPS chartplotter new 2011, radar, and linear drive autopilot at the helm with new brain 2012, with sailing instruments also located in the cockpit. A new main was added in 2010 and a new jib added 2011.     About this Sailboat:

    The Freedom 35 is a cruising couples dream boat.It’s carbon fibre mast and self tacking jib make it the easiest boat to sail.The Freedom 35 is also a fast boat as attested to by the wins under her belt.The V-berth and aft cabin both accomodate two adults and the main salon has another double and single berth.The swim platform is easily assesssable through the transom and make it easy to board your dingy.

  4. 1987 Freedom 28 Sloop

    About this Sailboat:

    A real beauty, Morning Mist is a classic Freedom 28 sailing vessel, sloop rigged, capable of serious cruising. She has a fin keel, an 18 hp Yanmar diesel inboard engine and an unstayed carbon fiber mast. Easy sailing features include an Edson wheel steering, lazy jacks and self-tending jib. The arrangement of the cockpit provides good visibility, full length seating, all-around cushions and a generous deep locker. A new navy blue bimini (2011) and dodger add comfort and protection.     About this Sailboat:

    BRIO is a very recently updated version of the Gary Mull classic Freedom sloop. Painted with Claret Awl Grip she is lovely and stands out proudly in any harbor. BRIO was purchased in the fall of 2010. Recent upgrades include new hull paint, new epoxy barrier coat, reglazed fixed windows, rub rail, new shaft seal, two new fuel tanks, new batteries, Balmar alternator, Xantrex inverter, new plumbing, dingy davits, and more.     About this Sailboat:

    The Freedom 30 set the standard for simple, effortless sailing. All lines lead aft. The main and jib are self-tacking. Lazy jacks eliminate the need to flake the main. With a free standing carbon-fiber mast, there is no standing rigging to get in your way when moving around the deck. Built in the highly respected Tillotson-Pearson, Inc (TPI) boatyard, its composite construction makes the Freedom 30 an excellent performer in light winds. The interior of the Freedom 30 is hand-crafted with ash battened hullsides, teak and holly sole and a fold-down dining table. When not being used, the table folds against a bulkhead providing a very open and spacious salon. The V-berth is 7” at the shoulder and 6”6” in length. The aft cabin has a 6’6” long double berth that is 6’ at the shoulder. Both cabins have hanging lockers. The galley is equipped with a two burner range and oven, large cutting board, ice box and pressurized hot and cold water.
    Uncork’T is a two owner boat that was built in 1987 and has spent its entire life in fresh water.   7. 1984 Freedom Cat Ketch

    About this Sailboat:

    This 1984 39′ Freedom Cat Schooner designed sailboat, built by Tilllotson-Pearson, has just been gone through form stem to stern. It is fully commissioned and ready to sail.

    The nearly new 2004 Yanmar 40 HP diesel engine has only 130 hours on it.

    The forward cabin has a large v-berth with plenty of storage. Aft to starboard you find the head with a separate shower. The salon has a large u-shaped settee that converts to a double bed. On the port side there is a straight settee. The galley is aft to port with the nav station on the starboard side. Just aft of the nav station is another cabin with a large berth. The boat has a beam of 12’8”, a displacement of 18500 lbs and a draft of only 5’6”. There are fans in the forward, aft and main cabins. The berths have custom sheets.

    The u-shaped galley is just aft of mid-ship on the port side. It features an abundance of storage, good lighting, and ventilation.

    There is a gimbaled 3 burner propane stove, top loading Grunert refrigerator & freezer and a double sink.

    The Freedom Cat Ketch is a simple pleasure to sail – all lines run to the cockpit and tacking or jibing is easy as truning the wheel.     About this Sailboat:

    Easy Breeze is a solid, stable performance cruiser, capable for offshore as well as coastal cruising. She is a Tillotsen-Pearson, Freedom, Gary Mull design. They are known for their superior laminating- there are zero blisters- EVER. Because she is a Freedom, her mast is free standing carbon fiber, there are no shrouds to adjust, her only standing rigging is the mast itself, plus one forestay.

    She’s fast under sail, off wind she is exceptionally fast, clocked up to 8.5 to 9 knots even on close reach. She is roomy and comfortable under all conditions.
