2000 Catalina Capri 18

About this Sailboat:

2000 Catalina Capri 18 – wing keel. She is in good shape and ready to sail. We have kept her moored at Carter Lake and have gotten a lot of enjoyment out of the boat. The hull is in good condition – cleaned each season and keep coated with VC17 bottom paint. No blistering or any related problems. There are absolutely no structural issues and no sign of water infiltration, delamination or crazing. The interior is clean — teak in excellent condition and only minor, very slight signs of wear on the cushions. The sails — both genoa and main — are the originals (2000) and in good shape. The genoa has a sewn in cover and some slight wear on the leach from minor chaffing on the shrouds, but is otherwise in good shape.

– 5hp Honda four-stroke outboard (2000)
– 135 % genoa on CDI roller furling (sewn in cover)
– main with jiffy reefing (plus sail cover)
– 12V electrical system — interior, deck, running and anchor lights all fully functional
– battery solar charger
– Thetford marine head (porta-potti)
– standing rigging in great shape — fully inspected (only issue was a broken strand in the backstay — had the backstay replaced 2011)
– all new running rigging spring 2012
– professionally installed mast stepping system custom adjustable mast crutch (this has been an incredible upgrade — able to step the mast single-handed with complete ease)
– Trail-rite trailer with 10 ft. tongue extension — in great shape — lights fully functional and all bunk fabric replaced 2011
– original manuals for the boat, trailer, head, and outboard
– custom made winter cover
– asking $7,500 for the boat and trailer
