5 October, 2011 by EVAN

About this Sailboat:

Excellent performance in light and variable winds and stiff in a breeze. A Selden mast with integrated reefing makes Escape extremely easy to handle. Please read the review by an independant surveyor and captain in the online magazine “”. Bavaria developed the 36 Holiday for an optimum of sailing fun, caring as well as for greatest safety of crew and boat. Premier-quality material and equipment has been carefully chosen by experienced staff, with correct dimensions for high-duty service as well as for best and easy handling. Especially fine halyard and sheet leading, spacious cockpit with pedestal and full instrumentation at the wheel, walk thru transom. The cabin is full of mahagony, fine craftsmanship and joinery giving it a rich atmosphere. The construction meets the Lloyds A-1 standards for ocean crossing. This increases safety at sea, increases the stability of value and makes living on board more comfortable. Sandwich laminate technology such as that used in the aircraft industry and on ice-breaking boats is used in the above-water hull and in the deck. The sandwich layer is of water-repellent closed-cell foam to increase the dent-resistance of the shell. Its low heat conductivity prevents condensation and makes the interior climate more pleasant.
