1998 Catalina MKII

About this Sailboat:

1998- 36mkII Catalina: Built in July of 98’ ‘2nd Unit’ is in excellent shape. We are the original owners. She was maintained by marina staff in NJ from 98-2005. Today she is located in Daytona, FL.
The Mark II interior has an aft cabin with a large athwart ship double berth, hanging locker and bureau. The owner’s cabin forward is comfortable and well ventilated and has a private entrance to the head. The main cabin features seating for two with a game table to starboard and a traditional dining table to port with seating for four. Both areas convert to sleeping berths. The Catalina 36 MK II has plenty of storage throughout. The galley is a functional U-shape with composite counter tops, Adler-Barbour refrigeration, Hiller-Range two burner propane stove w/oven and a microwave oven. The double stainless-steel sinks are located near the boat’s centerline for proper drainage underway and have hot/cold pressurized water. The fresh water supply is from 78 gallon water tanks. The head features a Jabsco manual fresh water flush toilet, 15 gallon holding tank and a vanity with mirror and sink with hot/cold pressure water and shower.

Equipment on Board:

‘2nd Unit’ features a 13” TV – LCD, (AC/DC), Jensen Stereo with AM/FM/CD player, cockpit speakers, Raytheon VHF, Raytheon 4000 auto pilot, ST60 speed, depth sounder and ST60 wind indicator. Furuno Marine Radar Model 1722, .Besides the standard Catalina electrics, the electrical system includes two 50’ power cables. Windlass w/up & down controls.
There is an Ocean Marine Davit System w/ 9’ dingy. The sail inventory consists of a Catalina mainsail with a Lazy jack system and roller furling head sail and spinnaker. Auxiliary propulsion is supplied by a Westerbeke/Universal 35 HP Diesel engine. Safety equipment includes a bruce anchor w/full chain rode. USCG safety equipment for 12. The cockpit is protected by a dodger and bimini. A magma stainless steel BBQ grill is included in the list of cockpit amenities. In addition to having extra cleats installed, “2nd Unit” comes with a spare anchor and a set of dock lines. The original deck cushions have never been used. Various maintenance tools and spare parts are included.
