About this Sailboat:

Nice cruiser/racer sailboat in good condition and ready to sail. Priced to SELL. Not in the rental business as need to keep boat looking good and not insured for it.

Equipment on Board:

Equiped with reverse cycle King Air conditioning-16,000btu that has been updated with a copper/nickle heat exchanger coil and high pressure shutoff to protect the compressor from loss of cooling. And is ducted to all cabins. Heavily insulated ice box with Adler cold plate refrigeration that has been updated with new compressor and new control box and runs of a 12v converter when dockside and away is not connected to the house batteries but runs off its own battery dedicated to it. LNG stove with broiler.LNG is safer because a leak would dissipate and not stay inside the boat. Large 10ft x 10ft bimini top thats old but may have some life left in it w/stainless steel frame. Two anchors-one 35pound and one 25pound with chain and anchor line. Fish finder used as primary depthfinder that gives accrurate readings. Radio/cassette/CD player with 6 disk changer. Owned the boat since 1997 and repainted the bottom in 2005. Cutlass bearing was replaced that time. Hull was totally clean except for one blister on the keel to hull connection. Inspected the hull and her hull and keel was still clean this season. Each fall season the shaft zinc is replaced. Hull was scuffed on the gelcoat in hurricane opal before i owned the boat and it was not cracked or i would not have bought the boat. Gelcoat was repaired and looks ok. Deck is ok and may have very minimal leaks in a very hard rain. Stuffing box on the shaft was replaced last year. All running lights and deck lights work. Some cabin lights have been replaced lately. Waste pump needs replacing. Can’t find a new rule waste pump or any parts to repair it. The boat is availble to be sold as is. But as the descrepancies are corrected the price will go up accordingly. I am prepared to offer the boat at 31,000$ but with new canvas the boat will be priced at 33,000$ and with yet a new bottom paint then the price will go to 35,000$ as i must net 30,000$ to pay off some debts i have or else i have no desire to sell. Will be totally honest about any possible problem. Have never had a survey on any of the number of sailboats that i have owned. Sails are in good condition according to all the ones that have seen them. Boat has dutchman sail flaking system which i do not like but thats what the boat came with. Boat was owned by two retired policeman that each had another boat so they did not use it much.It was brought by them down the Tom Bigby waterway with the mast on the deck when it was nearly new. Twice one of them sailed it singlehanded to the Dry Tortugas. They estimated about 350 hours on the engine and i estimate about 400 hours on the engine myself. Keel has no barnacles as i do not touch the keel unless i want to rub it. Most of the interior wood looks new. Aft cabin is an enclosed cabin with a queensize plus quarterberth. Has 3 cylinder yanmar diesal with 2 blade prop. Main saloon cushions are covered with heavy denim. Other cabin cushions are covered with comforters. Bilge is kept dry as possible.
