BRIO is a very recently updated version of the Gary Mull classic Freedom sloop. Painted with Claret Awl Grip she is lovely and stands out proudly in any harbor. BRIO was purchased in the fall of 2010. Recent upgrades include new hull paint, new epoxy barrier coat, reglazed fixed windows, rub rail, new shaft seal, two new fuel tanks, new batteries, Balmar alternator, Xantrex inverter, new plumbing, dingy davits, and more. Also new, in 2011 a new control head for the linear drive autopilot, new swivel arm for chartplotter/GPS, depth, wind, stereo, flat screen monitor connected to wireless keyboard and remote mounted laptop, printer, and all new antennae for large screen navigating.
