1986 MacGregor Mac 25

5 October, 2011 by EVAN

About this Sailboat:

Nice size for the right price. You can day sail and spend the night on this 25’ Macgregor sailboat. It’s not the crappy half motor half sailboat Macgregor that got all the bad press, this is a 25’ sailboat with a swing keel and a long-shaft motor. Ideal day sail boat for beginner/intermediate sailors. I’ve done plenty of trips from Marblehead to Gloucester/Boston and it’s got room for four people to sleep.

Also, this boat comes with a trailer, so you don’t have to store it in a boatyard or pay for a crane/movers every year, and you can do any yearly maintenance by your own residence. You can even raise the mast with one person (a second hand is def helpful though)

Why am I selling, because I’m trading up of course! This is a solid boat and I’ll be pulling it into port to demo on Sat/Sun this week (Aug 14/15). Please email me if you’re interested in making an appointment. Village St dock in Marblehead would be most convenient.
