About this Sailboat:
A 1985 Pearson 36. Sometimes known as a 36-2. I am only the second owner, and have owned her now for almost 15 years. Only used for day sails, but would be a great cruiser or live abord. Low 385 hours on the original Yanmar diesel engine. Included is the original owners manual and a set of original sail plans. Even the original sales receipt from 1985.
Like new interior is in perfect condition. Really, really nice.
Hauled and painted October 2010 when she also got a new cutlass bearing and new 3 blade feathering prop. (wish I had made that investment sooner. She backs up perfectly straight, and NO prop-walk when pulling into a slip!
Pearson is a great east coast built boat similar to Tartan or Sabre.
February 2011 survey valued her at $70,000. A copy of that survey is available.
This is an opportunity to own a great sailboat that has been well taken care of at a very fair price.
Equipment on Board:
Roller furling jib. Dutchman sail handling on main. Forespar ridged vang. New 3 blade feathering prop. SS dodger frame and all hardware.
Boat is complete including life jackets, BBQ, complete kitchen set up, etc.
