1983 Bruce Farr Libera

19 October, 2012 by EVAN

About this Sailboat:

The boat which was originally called OPNI (Opni (Object Planet Non-Identifie) is a legendary Libera built in 1983. It has won the Centomiglia, the Blue Ribbon Race on Lake Geneva, the Bol’dor and achieved second place at Europe Challenge. Its last victory was in 1996 at the RUNDUM (the Blue Ribbon Race on Lake Boden). Seeing the above mentioned results, it’s obviously not a brand new boat.
Our team is rebuilding 99% of the boat devoting a lot of time, money and work to the project. We apply innovative technological methods which will make the boat much lighter and faster, further increasing the chance of future victories.
