About this Sailboat:
YARGO is a Ted Brewer design sloop/cutter that is a performance blue water cruiser or club racer. Her underbody is designed for offshore with a full skeg protected rudder and protected prop in an aperture. No worries about logs, lines or fishpots. Her cutter rig will make easier handling of heavy weather. Roll up the jib all or part and carry on with reefed main and staysail. Her deep cockpit with dodger, bimini and weather cloths will keep you dry in all but the foulest of weather. And when that comes just zip in the side and aft curtains for full enclosure. Down below you will find a beautiful teak interior with a galley designed for offshore complete with 3 burner propane stove, a 12v fridge/freezer, h/c pressure water, a manual water pump and salt water foot pump; also a large food storage locker and plenty of room for galley ware, pots, pans, dishes, etc. Her interior design is standard with vee berth forward followed by a large head with shower to port and lockers to starboard. The main salon features an L shaped dinette to port with a table that opens to the settee on starboard. A pilot berth is above the settee. Chart table is opposite the galley and a large quarter berth is aft of the chart table. Storage abounds throughout this vessel. There are screens for both hatches and companionway. The standard Morgan plastic opening ports have been replaced with Newfound S/S opening ports with screens (2009). The Racor filter housing has been relocated from its’ impossible to service location to one ths is very accessible. Her tankage is 95 gallons water, 40 fuel and 15 holding. The holding tank can be pumped out with a manual pump.
