About this Sailboat:

1981 Vagabond 17
The gel coat is dull and normal wear and tear for a boat of this age. Everything operational and working and ready to sail. There has never been any structural damage of any kind. The original sails are in good condition with no significant rips or tears; and they’ve never been put away wet. The Vagabond 17 is easy to sail, very responsive, and fast for a mono-hull boat its size. I am a novice sailor and picked up on it very easily. Only reason I am selling is family does not care for sailing and want jet skis. Swing keel pin recently maintenance and replaced.. Cabin cushions also recently replaced. Purchased a 2007 mercury 4 hp…runs perfect. Comes with owner’s manual. Adjustable motor mount. Forward and reverse on motor. Motor alone is worth $725. Package deal…not selling motor separately. Lots of extra miscellaneous stuff included.

As advertised in the original manufacturer’s brochure, standard features include hand laid fiberglass construction, 345 lb. swing keel, teak handrails, stainless bow pulpit, Harken blocks, kick-up rudder, positive foam floatation, anodized aluminum spars, a double and two single berths, space for porta-potti in the cabin, bunk cushions, Theres a compartment for a battery Specifications are as follows:
