About this Sailboat:
“Dreamcatcher” is well-used but in good shape for her age. She’s the aft-cabin version of this classic blue water boat with a passage between the aft and main cabins and a spacious engine room beneath the central cockpit. This boat has been a comfortable and reliable cruising home for both the present and previous owners who sailed her extensively around Florida, the Bahamas and Central America. She could use a bit of minor cosmetics and needs bottom paint but other than that
she’s cruise equipped and ready to take you anywhere.
She is presently out of the water in a yard so inspections of all surfaces and interior are readily available.
Equipment on Board:
The four sails are all in better than fair condition as well as the running rigging. The Genoa is Pro-furl roller furling with new line and parts. This system is highly rated and has been very reliable.
Engine is a 40 horse Perkins; has lots of hours but runs great.
She has GPS, depth, low-draw auto pilot, stereo, VHF, Zodiac dinghy, dock lines, cockpit cushions, sailcovers, dodger and Bimini with a full cover and mosquito netting for the central cockpit.
Large stainless water and fuel tanks seem to take forever to run dry.
There are three anchors: a plow, Bruce and Danforth as well as two 100′ rodes of 3/8 chain, all in good shape with some nylon rodes, as well.
There is a fairly large solar panel which has kept the batteries charged under constant use but it will require a new deck mounting.
I could list all the extras such as life vests, pots, charts, towels and bedding but there is just too much.
