The electronics have not been updated. , Has an EPIRBSails and rigging are in fine shape. I have a mooring in the Lake Worth Lagoon and could throw that in as well.

  2. 1990 Prout Event

    December 13, 2012 by EVAN

    About this Sailboat:

The Prout Event 34′ Cutter is a proven passage maker. This one is no exception, making two Atlantic crossings. Although it has the pedigree to cross oceans, it equally excels as a coastal cruiser, with it’s shallow draft of 2’8″, it is able to sneak into secluded anchorages other cruisers can only dream about. The 30hp Yanmar was installed in 1998 and has 460 hours. Her 5 sails are in good shape. She sports a dodger & bimini, monitor wind vane steering system as well as a Raytheon auto pilot. Her bottom was just completed the first of this year and her standing rigging was inspected at the same time and giving the all clear. She also just got a fresh coat of paint on her coach roof stripe. If your looking for catamaran that can do it all and not break the bank, you just found it. She is ready for a whole new set of dreams.

  4. 1996 Prout Prout 39

    October 19, 2012 by EVAN

    About this Sailboat:

Recently returned from a multi-year Caribbean cruise, this Prout 39 catamaran is primed and ready to go again. Specifically built, and highly regarded in the international cruising community as a long-range blue water cruiser, this safe, comfortable, fully-loaded yacht can carry you anywhere your dreams may take you. With a huge equipment list including twin diesel engines, diesel genset, watermaker, SSB, full electronics including radar, washing machine, life raft, and extensive ground tackle – just to list a few, she is equipped and ready for more adventures.

While we catch up on a few post-cruise projects we are offering her for sale privately. Once the projects are done, most likely by late-summer, she will be listed with a broker and the financial aspects of the sale will change due the commission and other associated costs. The listing price will be $229,000. Take advantage of a lower cost during this time – contact me for details if you are serious about the boat.

The boat is currently lying in the northern Chesapeake Bay. As part of the sale I will offer two weekends of stem to stern boat review, covering all that we have learned about the boat and her systems – which are extensive.

This is a serious cruising boat for anyone ready to go.

Please direct any questions to raisinganchor@yahoo.com

    Equipment on Board:

This yacht has an extensive equipment list that is pages long and the space allowed here would not even begin to display it. Either visit my website for detailed specs and more photos: www.prout39forsale.weebly.com or e-mail me for a detailed equipment list. Note – she is in excellent condition and has been well maintained, this is not a project boat. All of the photos taken for this listing are new (June 2011) with the exception of the haul photo. Thanks.
