    About this Sailboat:

    Custom boat built from Hunter-Cherubini design, layed up by Quest mfg in Alachua,FL and finished-out by Palmer Johnson. A knock out beauty, with well maintained mechanicals, loaded equipment, and a smooth power sailer. Over sized rear quarter berth, and pullman forward stateroom built out in gorgeous mahogany and teak. Beautiful teak deck, and teak flooring present a head turning experience. A complete array of well maintained sails with all new running rigging, and full canvas finishs the list. Current owner has sailed actively in Lake Huron for the past 17 seasons. Boat has been stored cold indoors and all mechanical work performed by certified yard mechanics. Boat has never been in Salt.

    About this Sailboat:

    Maro IV is just completing a one year trip around the North Atlantic from the Gulf of St-Lawrence to Scotland, Spain, Portugal and the Caribbean. All systems were renovated in 2009 and the boat is in very good shape and is ready to leave again for very fast and safe ocean passages. It is already equipped with SSB with Pactor III modem for emails at sea, EPIRB, liferaft, water maker and diesel heater.
    Originally built for the 1979 Admiral’s Cup/Fastnet Race British team, it was the prototype of the Swan 51. After years of racing, it was modified to be a performance cruiser/gentleman’s racer under the name Toscana (ex Blizzard). It has been continuously upgraded over the years with a lower draft keel from MARS metal, a very solid titanium and carbon fibre rudder, hydraulic auto pilot, hydraulic windlass for high performance Mason anchor with 300 feet of quality chain, technical mast with solar panels and wind generator mounting.

    Galley – Force 10 three burner stove, microwave, freezer, refrigerator freezer, sink, lots of storage
    Salon – Table seats 4, additional settee, three closets with a lot of space for storage, behind settee storage
    Head – Electric toilet, sink and shower combination

    The hull and deck was completely re-done 4 years ago, touched up last year, and is in excellent condition.

    Equipment on Board:

    Complete Raymarine Package E-120: Radar, Chart Plotter, VHF, AIS Transponder, Auto Pilot and more

    Volvo 23 HP Diesel with hydraulic drive in keel, engine is in good condition

    Electrical System – New panel/wiring, 120 amp alternator, 2 x 8D house battery and a starting battery, Xantrex Inverter 2000 Watt. The boat has energy efficient florescent bulbs throughout.

    Rigging and Sailing – More sails and winches than you will know what to do with(#1-good,2-new,3-new,4-good,5-good 9 spinnakers), windlass 2200 Maxwell 3/8 chain with Bruce 66 lb anchor and a Danforth backup with rode.

    About this Sailboat:

    Designed by MacLear & Harris forthe sole purpose os extensive cruising by the owner and his wife with out crew or assistance. Sleeps four in two cabins each with shower and head. Completely paneled in hand selected, hand rubbed Burmese teak. FALCON is suitable for long distance, safe and comfortable cruising by a couple alone.
