    ENGINE: Perkins 4-108 four cylinder fresh water cooled 50 hp diesel with approx 2,400 hours. Dual lever engine controls in cockpit. Engine instrument panel in cockpit including tach, oil pressure, water temperature, amp meter, fuel gauge, hour meter (507 hours showing) and alarms. Racor fuel filter/water separator, bronze raw water strainer, water lift exhaust, three blade prop.

    ELECTRICAL: 12v system with two Optima AGM 12v house batteries and one Optima AGM engine cranking battery, selector switch, 12v breaker panel, 12v fuse panel, and volt meter. 110v system with breaker panel and two shore power cords. Xantrax 1500 inverter/battery charger.

    SAILS AND RIGGING: Masthead sloop rigged. Painted aluminum mast, boom and spreaders. Mast stepped on keel. Stainless steel standing rigging with double lower shrouds and mechanical back stay adjuster. Two Barient #28 self tailing primary sheet winches, two Harken #32 secondary sheet winces, two Lewmar #8 halyard/reefing winches on cabin top, two Lewmar #8 halyard winces on mast. Sails include 2005 North main with jiffy reefing, 2005 North 135% genoa, working jib, gennaker, spare original 135% genoa and spare original main.     About this Sailboat:

    Beautiful 1982 Islander 36 “Pakele” for sale. This boat is both capable and gorgeous. She has circumnavigated the globe and after that, embarked upon the Single-Handed TransPac race to Hawaii in 2010, placing first in her class. Post-circumnavigation she was re-rigged with high-quality components and restored to beauty inside and out. Her entire hull was repainted in 2011. There is documentation for all of her systems (including an engine manual) and there is a detailed maintenance log as well. All the information that her new owner will need is there to be read. This boat is ready to go!
