    About this Sailboat:

    Hans Christian first built the Traditional 48 in 1984. Zephyr’s owner purchased her in Maine in 2008, and the yacht was completely renovated at a cost of over $400,000. This covered everything from thru-hulls, hoses and new wiring to new rigging, sails, major deck work, ports and hatches, ground tackle and more. Located in Noyo Harbor on California’s north coast, a beautiful 2-hour drive from Santa Rosa, which has connecting flights to Los Angeles and Seattle and is located an hour north of San Francisco.

    The Hans Christian 44 Pilothouse is a magnificent double-ended vessel that was designed to go to sea, and to be safe and easy to handle in all conditions. She has the beautiful lines of a North Sea motorsailer, yet she has an underbody that is designed to sail. This, along with the generous sailplan, provides performance even in light airs that impresses all who have sailed on her.

    Whether one intends to cruise long distance or simply live aboard, this vessel provides the comfort and the ambiance with the impeccably-finished Burmese teak, bronze and marble detailing to satisfy the most discriminating tastes. This vessel has been upgraded with a bow thruster, huricane hydraunic heating, third stateroom has been converted into a large workshop off the engine room

    Hans Christian 38 ‘ double ended cruiser in excellent condition. A little TLC and this vessel is ready to cruise. Safe offshore cruiser with perfect layout for cruising couple. Pullman berth and bow locker for marlinspike storage. Hull has barrier coat with no blisters.

    Equipment on Board:

    BMW 50HP diesel engine. Complete sail inventory including storm sail, spinnaker, and 150 genoa. New propane cabin heater, water heater, and below deck hydraulic autopilot plus monitor windvane mounted on stern. New fresh water pump. Exteror teak trim and hand rails with recent coat of simco. Well equipped man overboard bag and first aide kit and life raft. Mast steps to spreaders for easy access.
