    About this Sailboat:

$18,000 OBO! PRICED FOR QUICK SALE!!!!! CONSIDER THIS A DISTRESS SALE!

Excellent quality Swedish design. Beautiful interior. Needs some cleaning, lines and rigging in working condition.

Sailboat located at Gottschalk Marina in Jacksonville, NC.

The Rasmus 35 was designed by the leading Swedish designer of elegant yachts of the 1960s, Olle Enderlein. 760 boats were made between 1967 and 1978. The first two Rasmus were built entirely in mahogany and took one year each to construct. From hull number 3 both the hull and the superstructure were made of GRP. The name “Rasmus” is German and means God of Winds. The design of the Rasmus 35 was in many ways ahead of its time. It was the first sailing yacht in the world with a windscreen. That made her centre cockpit very well protected, keeping with elegant lines. The Rasmus 35 also has a powerful engine. All these important basic points, together with timeless lines makes this yacht pleasing still today and she will also be as attractive in 10 or 20 or 30 years from now. In other words, this is a genuine Hallberg-Rassy.

    Equipment on Board:

Ready to sail. Full set of sails including spinnaker. New unupholstered cushions in bow.

    October 5, 2011 by EVAN

    About this Sailboat:

A seaworthy and roomy cruiser with a well laid out interior has received a generous and comprehensive refit. It has a new engine, new electronics, new sails and much more. She has the volume to carry everything necessary for living aboard or a long passage at sea, including a large water and fuel capacity. She is a balanced, offshore capable vessel with excellent sailing characteristics. Her “modified” keel combines the advantages of a traditional long keel and the modern fin keel. The hull is solid 25mm (1″) GRP. She was designed and built in Sweden under Lloyd’s specs with superb mahogany joiner work. Sea Spray is presently cruising, with her owners, in Greece and Turkey under a U.S. flag.
