    About this Sailboat:

    “BIRD” is intended for coastal cruising and is outfitted for self reliance.

    75 watts of solar power and Yamaha 9.9 4-stroke engine with alternator keep the simple electronics charged and ready.

    She has sailed as far as St. Augustine, FL. and back to the northern outer banks both on the ICW and overnight offshore legs, and is fully capable of cruising the Bahamas. This is the centerboard design, the center board cable has been replaced during last haul out {winter 2012}.

    Rigged for single handing, all lines lead aft to cockpit, a pleasure to sail. Also during 2012 haul out: new topside paint and bottom paint, new heavy duty bow chainplate and pulpit, new custom salon table and cabinets.

    Bird has been home for 9 years and two of us have lived aboard together for 3 years. She is meant to be sailed, this is not a boat to be moored or docked and left to neglect, please only adventurous souls need inquire.

    About this Sailboat:

    This is a fantastic boat for sailing and cruising in the great lakes. She sails great sleeps our family of 4 for weeks at a time, through the 1000 islands. If you want a proven foul weather boat and move really well in light air this is the boat for you.
    Roomy cockpit with full life lines wrap the boat swim ladder off the stern for easy access.

    About this Sailboat:

    Only $3000 for this 26 ft. Grampian Sailboat and optional trailer (additional). She is just more than the aging captian can handle these days. Its time to find a smaller boat. She is currently on the East shore of Seneca Lake on the trailer and winterized. The shrinkwrap features a zipper access door over the stern which is very convenient to access the interior during the off season. The shrinkwrap is reported to be reuseable and very. This will save $300 per year.
    She comes with mainsail, 130% jib/ Genoa and a colorful, red and yellow spinnaker. Features include a private head, onboard water and sewage storage tanks, kitchen with sink, stove and sleeping room for 4 .
    The boat has been in storage for 5 years with the sails, cushions, motor etc. stored indoors.
    Optional 15 hp Mercury longshaft outboard available with 3 gallon tank. This motor has a generator and electric start (no battery). $1500.
    Optional galvanized steel double axle trailer. The tires are approximatly 5 years old and have relatively few miles on them. This will save you thousands of $$ in boat yard storage fees. At $1500 you will recover this cost in the first year of storage.

    (LOCATION: Beaufort NC) The Grampian 30 is a classic limited edition sloop designed for freshwater and coastal cruising. She has a spacious open cockpit for day cruising and roomy accommodations for overnight and weekend getaways.

    On deck we have a roomy cockpit with bimini top, cushioned seating, centerline pedestal helm with Edson wheel, and swim ladder aft. Electronics includes: Autohelm auto pilot, Garmin GPS and 6” Danforth compass. Other features: aluminum mast and boom with stainless steel standing rigging. Sails include full batten main sail, 160 jib, 120 jib, and two genoas. Auxiliary power is provided by a Yanmar 20-hp diesel engine.

    The upgraded interior features new wood trim and cabinets, new upholstery and foam, and custom 8” mattress.     Grampian 26 Foot restored from keep to top of mask. Sold Hull Deck. No Delams, Algrip hull, deck and Spars. Complete Teak Varnished interior.     The Grampian 26 is a roomy, seaworthy, well-built cruiser that sails very well. I have owned the boat for 5 years, and have enjoyed sailing it around the Long island sound. I am selling the boat because i’m moving across country
