  2. 1974 Ericson 27

    February 8, 2013 by EVAN

    About this Sailboat:

This Erickson 27 sailboat is a solidly built cruiser. It’s in excellent condition for it’s age as we’ve put a lot of (well spent) time and effort into maintaining this. (see photos below)

This particular sailboat came from the factory set up for an outboard even though there is a diesel compartment built in. So you have the option of easily installing an inboard, but it comes with the outboard.

One particularly cool feature of this boat is the built-in wood stove, perfect for the NW because it produces totally dry heat. You can stay warm in this all winter.

The boat was last hauled out in Summer 2011 — it was painted, the thru hull fittings were inspected and all new valves installed. Also, the fin keel is moulded into the hull so there are no keel bolts.

I currently have a moorage (~$320/month) on the north end of Lake Union that may be transferrable, please let me know if this is something you’re interested in and I can talk to the marina manager.
