  1. 1968 Ericson Yachts Ericson 23/ Mk II

    October 19, 2012 by EVAN

    About this Sailboat:

If you have ever sailed an Ericson you know this is a great deal. You can put her in the water and sail today, or with a little TLC bring her back to her best. Personally, I had planned to redo the glass work on the keel hull connection first. The hull was replaced by the owner before me but whoever he got to do that joint did not do it correctly. The previous owner sailed her as is, on the same lake, without any problems or a drop of leakage for 2 years, but while she is out it would be a small job to redo it correctly. Also everything not necessary was taken out of cabin area as she was raced on lake Erie 2 owners back. The only thing down below is the fiberglass molding for the double berth and seating area and the toilet. I put her on at a really low priced because unfortunately, I do need to sell her quickly, not any reflection of the quality of this boat. She is solid, well built and a perfect boat for a beginner, racer ( there is an Ericson raceing group on Lake Erie)or an over night sail with up to 4 people comfortably. She is equally well fit for the seasoned sailor that just needs a “pocket yacht”. My financial situation has changed markedly and I have not even seen her boat in over a year, so I obviously don’t need her. I’d love to see someone take her and give her the care she deserves, or get her back out racing with the Ericson club on Lake Erie, I just can’t do that right now. I am also going to list her on eBay so I reserve the right to pull this offer at any time. Any other questions please email me here or you can text me at (# removed). Thanks for your time. ~Tracy

    Equipment on Board:

She does come with main and gib, the sail has the Ericson Logo at top, life vests, a spinnaker pole, a toolbox full of new parts ( cleats and such) and her cradle, oh and an envelope full of older Ericson Yachts paperwork ( brochure, Ericson owner’s newsletters, an old ad for the Ericson 23 and 29 and specs).

  5. 1977 Ericson Yachts Ericson 25 Centerboard

    October 17, 2012 by EVAN

    About this Sailboat:

Priced for a quick sale due to illness. Purchased her last year and worked on the teak, put new clip-on hanks on the jib, replaced the old fenders and line, and generally spruced up the boat. The boat is solid, deck and interior are neat, clean and roomy. The motor is a 2007 Nissan 4-stroke/9.8 in great condition and is currently winterized and stored, as is our sailboat, at Jeff’s Yacht Haven. The centerboard has cracks that will, at some point, need to be repaired; head needs replacing; and the electrical wires are in place, but need a handyperson’s eye to reattach.
