    About this Sailboat:

    With its high freeboard and clipper bow she is virtually dry in 8 foot seas. She is a world-class sailor with full keel and protected rudder that tracks well in large following seas, but with the shoal draft can go to shallower waters.

    About this Sailboat:

    This is a cruising/racing diesel auxiliary Cutter rigged, a “Downeast 32” designed by Bill Poole and built by Downeast inc. Construction is of fiberglass reinforced plastic construction, over longitudinal stringers and bulkheads, with additional stiffening in the deck and cabin top areas. Auxiliary propulsion power is furnished by a single 27 hp diesel engine.

    This boat is set-up to be a comfortable live-aboard but also set-up to cruise any where in the world in comfort and safety. Just top-off tanks, stock provisions, on tie and set sail.

    Accommodations

    Accommodations are for 5 persons in way forward V-berth, Pt convertible upper/lower berths, settee/salon berths and a quarter berth. She has an enclosed marine head, Formica molded top vanity & sinks, running electric pumped water and ample storage. Her interior boasts abundant paneling, cabinetry and trim as well as upholstered cushions in good condition throughout.

    Her galley also includes Formica top work surfaces, electric pumped water, built in icebox and ample storage areas.
