    About this Sailboat:

    36’7″ OD George Sutton design professionally built. Sandblasted inside and out. 5 coats epoxy primer outside- 2 coats inside. Fire retardant urethane foam above water line.Interior finished, engine installed. Wiring and plumbing finished. 14″ thru hull viewing port aft below water. Hatches fit but not installed.Needs mast, rig and sails.This would make an ideal ocean going live-aboard cruiser for two.

    Equipment on Board:

    2 cylinder,unused, fresh water cooled Hardy Diesel installed. Two 70 gal.integral steel fuel tanks, two 100 gal. integral steel water tanks. All tanks have removable tops with viewing ports.Atkins Hoyle hatches. 2 burner Taylor kerosene galley stove with oven.2″ manual bronze Henderson diaphragm bilge pump. Wilcox C. bronze Skipper head with holding tank. 35lb. CQR with 300′ galvanized chain,galvanized chain locker and manual windless.6000lbs removable lead ballast strapped down in keel.

    About this Sailboat:

    Classic ketch designed by L. Francis Herreshoff. Built by Hank Chamberlin in Portland, OR, in 1973. Mahogany planking on oak frames. All bronze fittings as specified by designer. Six sails with complete set in Oceanus sailcloth. Small wood stove. Professionally maintained. Very well equipped and ready to go.

    About this Sailboat:

    This shallow water gunkholer will sail in almost no water, but is seaworthy enough to cross the bay. A Sea Pearl “clone”, but built by custom builder (2007?) with divicell, bixial cloth and epoxy construction. Cuddy cabin with 4′ headroom, tiller steering, 2007 4-cycle Tohatso 3 1/2 hp outboard motor, cat ketch with good furling sails. Fun trailer sailer with new trailer. Located near Annapolis, Maryland.

    Northern Light is a custom one off airex cored cutter. She will appeal to the sailor that wants something out of the ordinary. While traditional above the waterline, she is modern below. She is an excellent sailor and set up for single handed sailing. More details on request

    About this Sailboat:

    This very well cared for 38 foot custom sloop is new to the market. She was built in San Diego California by an Australian Designer. she has been half way around the world and back. Fiji, Tahiti, Hawaii, and Alaska to name a few places. Her second owner feels he is just too old to carry on with her.

  9. 1980 Custom Sailing Yacht

    About this Sailboat:

    Tropicbird is a 50 foot proven 23 ton bluewater liveaboard ketch.
    Professionally built in South Africa to a Ted Brewer design Tropicbird has sailed tens of thousand miles and has kept her captain and crew safe, secure and comfortable.
    Her hull is diagonal cold molded of 3 x 3/8 mahogany bonded together with epoxy to a thickness of 1 1/8 inch. She is epoxy painted on the outside. Anti-fouled last March 2012 in Panama. (At the same time the cutlass bearing was renewed and all zincs updated).
    Decks are marine plywood with fiberglass and gel-coat on top and finished with anti-slip paint. She retains her original wooded handrails and curved sliding hatches all lovingly maintained. Internals are teak which is varnished and has achieved an old world patina.
    Her accommodation comprises 3 double cabins and 2 pilot berths in the saloon plus 3 berths in the cockpit. Extra berths can be achieved using the saloon seating. She has two heads one with a shower and one with a bath. There are 3 entrances to below-decks , from the cockpit or the forward or aft sliding hatch companionway.
    Her galley is large and has a marine 3 burner stove with oven which is on gimbals, (the captain regularly bakes bread). There are two large cooler boxes and a refrigerator and lots of worktop. Throughout Tropicbird there is an abundance of storage.
    The navigation area has a full size chart table and full instrumentation.
    Her engine is a Perkins M90 diesel which was installed in year 2000 with 4300 hours to date. This engine has been meticulously maintained and regularly serviced.
    Her rig is a ketch with an additional inner forestay which will fly any of the smaller jibs. Her sail wardrobe is listed at liveaboardsailing.com on the page sale details, please see photos and description.
    Her current owner is a qualified boatbuilder and presents his vessel in sound condition worthy of any inspection.

    About this Sailboat:

    Foam sandwich construction good few sea miles, 3 atlantic crossings, sailed arctic, Baltic, much of northern Europe. My health is giving out and I haven’t been able to keep up with things so she is in need of some TLC, otherwise She’s sound and good for a few more miles.

    Equipment on Board:

    Usual gear consistent with deep sea sailing and live aboard. Some new i.e. Lavac, AIS other, some is working but could do with replacing soon.
