    About this Sailboat:

    We are the second owner of Hoot Mon. Her home port has been Jacksonville, FL in semi-brackish water for the past 25 years. Extremely clean and well maintained by both the previous owner and current owners. For those that know the CSY brand is excellent quality, the boats are solid fiberglass with NO coring which means less maintenance and virtually zero hull integrity issues. This boat has 2 cabin, 2 head layout and can sleep 7 very comfortably. All heads and showers fixtures have been rebuilt/replaced. New holding tanks fore and aft. With one of the biggest cockpits available, you can entertain with the cockpit cushions and cockpit table in comfort and style. Many excellent qualities about this boat.

    About this Sailboat:

    “Allegro” is a one-owner boat with some upgrades since new. She is the rare two private stateroom, two head version which makes for privacy for a family or two couples cruising. The CSY boats are of high quality and heavily built with top of the line materials. The “Allegro” was designed for heavy weather passage making. Yes, she was in charter service, but not for the past 30 years. She has a good sail plan and is easy to sail with her good sails.

    ENGINE: Yanmar four cylinder fresh water cooled 65 hp diesel. Dual lever engine controls on binnacle. Engine instruments in cockpit include tach, and alarms. Engine istruments at lower helm include tach, oil pressure, water temperature, and hour meter. Racor fuel filter/water separator, bronze raw water strainer, water lift exhaust, three blade prop.

    ELECTRICAL: 12v system with four 12v batteries, selector switch, 12v breaker panel with volt meter, and Guest Pro Charge 20 amp automatic battery charger. 110v system with 110v breaker panel and 30 amp. shore power cord.

    SAILS AND RIGGING: Ketch rigged. Painted aluminum mast, boom, and spreaders. Mast stepped on keel. SS standing rigging with double lowers. Teak and stainless steel boom gallows. Four to one purchase main sheet waveler on cabin top. Two Barient #27 self tailing primary sheet winches, one Barient #20 self tailing main sheet winch on cabin top, one Barinet #10 mizzen sheet located on mizzen mast, two Barient #18 halyard winches on main mast. Sails include main with jiffy reefing, 140% genoa and mizzen (2007). Hyde Stream Stay roller furling.

    About this Sailboat:

    Accommodations
    A few steps down from the cockpit is the saloon with a custom navigation station to starboard with chart storage, electronics and the electrical panels. Moving forward is custom cabinetry with a built-in trash compactor. Moving forward to starboard is a settee which converts to a double berth with storage behind the settee. A drop leaf table at the bulkhead opens to accomodate diners with storage for dishes, glasses and the coffee maker incorporated into the table cabinet. The galley is to port, aft in main cabin and has a Norcold refrigerator/freezer, Microwave, double stainless steel sink, top loading freezer, Force Ten propane stove with oven. The forward cabin has a divided rope locker with access forward, V-Berth with storage and holding tank below, locker and drawer bank starboard aft. Forward head has a countertop wash basin, storage locker and a Raritan Crown II electric marine toilet with overboard or plastic holding tank for discharge. Enclosed shower compartment to port.

    The Private owner’s stateroom is aft with access from the cockpit. The aft cabin has been re-designed with four dresser cabinets all cedar lined. Three small steps lead up to the custom berth with a custom made Hamilton Mattress. The head is forward with a wash basin, storage cabinet and Raritan Manual marine toilet discharging overboard through a Lectra San USCG Type I MSD.
