  1. 1993 Corsair Marine F 24

    October 19, 2012 by EVAN

    About this Sailboat:

    Corsair 24 MK I Description
The F-24 Mk I is a compact, easily trailerable, folding trimaran that is ideal for cruising and level racing. With its roomy cabin and optional cruising amenities, the F-24 also becomes a highly mobile pocket cruiser. But it’s the amazing performance – with 20-knots plus speed capability – that sets the F-24 apart. The F-24 is a tough, lightweight sport boat that is exceptionally fast, responsive and safe to sail. In recognition of its versatility and broad-based appeal, the F-24 won the “Performance Multihull” title in Sailing World’s 1996 Boat of the Year competition. The F-24 has a surprisingly large and roomy cabin. The F-24 converts easily into an overnight family cruiser. An optional galley module that includes a sink, stove, water tank and pump provides basic amenities with a marine head. The two single settees in the cabin and a V-berth forward sleep four in comfort. The mast is easily raised or lowered by one person using the trailer winch or one of the jib sheet winches. The flexible sail plan gives the F-24 all-round performance in a wide range of conditions and is easy to handle. It sports a fully-battened mainsail, a Profurl roller furling jib, roller furling screecher and spinnaker.

    Equipment on Board:

The boat has mostly seen fresh water. The aluminum is not pitted.

  2. 2003 Corsair Marine C-31R

    About this Sailboat:

2 Corsair dealers have told me she is the nicest 31R on the market by a long ways. I have kept this boat on a lift since new, never stored in water. I have owned many boats the biggest being a new 46 foot cat. I have delivered a 65 foot cat across the Atlantic. I have never been on a boat that is more fun or that I am more passionate about than Flight Risk our 31R. My wife and I are not racing sailors in fact we had never done a race before owning this boat, Flight Risk is so fast and easy to sail that we have won every race we have entered (ten or so) not just our division but 1st over the line every time. We do this with just the two of us on board most times up against full race crews on other boats. She always takes care of us if we get really aggressive and push too hard the leeward ama just digs in and she slows down telling us to fall off or let off on the main. One of the amazing things to us is she sails really well with out the main if you are feeling lazy just unfurl the jib or screecher we have sailed in the low teens like this often when going from one dive spot or island to the next. After many years of sailing her in all kinds of conditions including a storm in the Gulf stream coming back from the Bahamas I think she is almost impossible to get into trouble on.

I am Motivated as I am drooling over the all carbon C-37

    Equipment on Board:

Almost everything is new or recently replaced including…

    North 3DL sails
    Mercury 9.9 Big Foot
    airimid standing riging
    diamond wires
    running rigging
    nets
    auto pilot
    auto pilot remote
    Speed depth
    Head
    AGM Battery
    faucet
    ETC ETC
