  1. 1969 Coronado sloop

    October 19, 2012 by EVAN

    About this Sailboat:

This fresh water 1969 Coronado sloop sailboat is in good shape comfortable and easy to sail, a go anywhere outfit. She has sailed Superior and Rainy Lake independent of any marina. Take her home at the end of the season. Carina has four good sails; Main, storm jib, genoa, and spinacur. The trailer easily launches and loads the boat in about ten minutes. There is always a lot of power. A solar cell in the quarter birth window and the 9.9 4 stroke Yamaha motor also charge the battery. There is lots of storage, 20 gallon water tank under a good sized vee-birth, 5 gallon port a pottie across from closet. You can fill two ten gallons gas tanks under a hood with the motor. You can hardly hear run. The table turns into a comfortable bed. There is a counter, sink, and ice box. Motor also charges battery. 15 foot chain and 300 foot Rode on a dansforth anchor stored in the pulpit.

Equipment: Included in the equipment is a sturdy trailer with good tires, sails in sail bags, gloves, swim ladder, flashlights, cushions, propane stove, wood, screen, and glass doors, depth sounder, compass, speedometer, life cushions, solar panel, battery, tools, parts

  6. 68 Coronado Coronado 25

    About this Sailboat:

a ’68 Coronado 25 named ‘Spritzer’. Everything works. Just put a new antenna on the masthead. I’ve sailed it many times. I’m asking $3500. It has an Edson pedestal steering wheel with binnacle (over $1000.00 installed). The guy that owned it before didn’t like a tiller, so he had it professionally converted. Gear shift for the motor (a Nissan 8 outboard located in the engine well), has forward, reverse, neutral, as well as throttle, is on the pedestal making maneuvering very easy. Has a brand new boom vang. It has a lot of room for its size. I live on it. It’s very comfortable for me, and I’m a big guy. Headroom is only 5′ 3″, but it has an over sized wider hatch cover, and when it is open, the boat feels much bigger. Headroom is a non-issue with it open.
She’s in fair shape, needs some paint, some fixing up, but it sails well. Has a heavy displacement for its size. The keel bolts look corroded although I don’t think they are weakened from it. I’m planning to sister bolt the keel just for good measure.
I’m in Oklahoma, on Robert S. Kerr lake (reservoir), which is on the navigable Arkansas river, which leads to the Mississippi, and then to the Gulf of Mexico.
If you live on the ICW or Gulf or Atlantic coast, and are willing to pay the expenses, I’d be willing to sail/motor it to you.
Edson Classic Series Chain and Wire Steering Pedestal – $854.58
    Edson 18″ Stainless Destroyer Wheel – $391.00
Edson Steering Wheel Nuts – $40.92
Edson Standard Clutch and Throttle Controls – 329.80
Installation of all the above – ???

    Equipment on Board:

All cushions in good shape, all electrical works, no head, no holding tanks, new battery, new mast top antenna, new bilge hatch cover.
