    Bayfield29 hull #294. This is a fine, stable, sturdy cruiser completely equipped and ready for sail. The Yanmar 2gm20 engine starts first time every time. Sails are in great condition with crinkle still left in them. Always in fresh water. The cutter rig allows a variety of sailing options for any situation. You will enjoy the roomy cabin and full walk-in head. Galley and icebox for extended cruising or live-aboard. This is a great boat at an unbelievable price. Sacrifice due to financial issues.

    About this Sailboat:

    Nice old boat , in fairly good shape, very comfortable and sails well. She can handle wind well and the newer Yanmar lets you get home when you want. We have enjoyed Sugar N Spice for the past 18 years and are moving on.

    sails 130 Genoa, original main is OK. Ritchie compass at helm, VHF, The interior is old but works well and very pretty.

    About this Sailboat:

    A “V” berth is forward with custom foam mattress cut to fit.In 2008 a new Lavac head w/ new plumbing hoses and Y valve were installed. Clothes locker to port. Main salon includes bench settee to port and starboard w/custom built storage behind settees for extended cruising. New upholstered cushions in 2005. Nav table is to port with quarter berth area aft currently being used for storage. Galley is to starboard.
    Eight opening ports w/curtains and screens plus overhead hatch for excellent ventilation.
    Two lee cloths on each side. Custom bookshelves and storage.

    The present owners have cleverly dialed this boat into being a true blue water boat setup for extended cruising. She could be used as a dock queen but “Puff” is more adept hoping from different and exotic ports of call. Present owner of 12 years is willing to spend time to go completely thru all systems on the vessel with her next owner as he wants her to go to someone who falls in love with her as much as he and his lady has.

    About this Sailboat:

    The Bayfield 29 was designed by H.T. Gozzard. Very high quality build w/ a very unique design. From the location of the head in the bow, to the bulkheads designed with a vertical “pocket door” design. This wonderful design, opens up the interior of the boat for light and ventilation, yet allows privacy when desired. It is a great use of the space & is large and roomy. It actually adds lots of storage and a seating area to the boat. Galley

    About this Sailboat:

    A well-appointed cruising yacht with traditional styling. Hull shape and sail plan are oriented toward safe and stable handling in all conditions. Azura is loaded with extras and has been well maintained by her owner.

    12.5 Horsepower Yanmar 2GM diesel. A wind generator and PV solar panel provide independence from dockside power needs. Cabin woodstove heater. Two mainsails, 110% Roller Furling Genoa, Storm Jib, Cruising Spinnaker, Anchor Riding Sail. Bimini/Dodger. Wheel steering. Shallow full keel draws only 3.5 feet.

    Custom steel long handle emergency tiller. Lifeline netting. Jackstay mounts. Locking
    Lexan Hatchboards.

    Foredeck: Simpson Lawrence manual windlass/ gypsy. Danforth w/ 12′ chain 150′ line. Deck
    wash w/ blaster pump.

    Sail Rig: Harken Roller furling. 4 Lewmar self tailing winches; 4 halyard winches, 4:1 vang.
    Halyards and reef lines led aft to stoppers. Quick release inner headstay.
    Norseman lower terminals. Upgraded rig wire to 7/32″ and permanent intermediate
    stays. Mast steps. Tricolor masthead light, . Deck light.

    Sails: Lee triple stitch Main, Yankee (roller furl) 130 genoa, Staysail. Anchor riding sail. Spinnaker – asymmetric (All in VG or better condition)
