    About this Sailboat:

    28 O’Day 1980,. The O’Day 28 offers all of the amenities you expect in a cruising sailboat without neglecting sailing performance. A Raymond Hunt design, the 28 features solid-fiberglass construction, fiberglass cabin sole, 10’3″ of beam, 6’0″ of headroom, 4’6″ of draft, and a displacement of 7,300 lbs. Its tall rig provides plenty of sail area for fast sailing and is organized for efficient handling. The unusually spacious interior in the O’Day 28 permits a layout that follows classic yacht proportions. The galley offers a gimbaled 2-burner alcohol stove, top-loading ice box, stainless steel sink with water system with 20 gallon tank, and ample counter and storage space. The main cabin offers a full-length settee to port that sleeps one, a full-length settee to starboard that sleeps one, a bulkhead mounted folding double-leaf dinette table, a navigation/chart table with storage below, nautical oil-burning lamp, 12v lighting, 4 fixed ports with screens, and very ample storage below and above the settee seatbacks. Forward is a large V-berth double that sleeps 2 with an overhead deck hatch. Just aft is a private head with sink & vanity, manual marine head with holding tank, sink with vanity, hanging wet locker 2 opening ports, and teak privacy doors.
