Allied Yachts Luders 33

20 January, 2013 by EVAN

About this Sailboat:

This Boat was picked up at the factory by the current owner in 1970, and is a beautiful piece of sailing history. The luders 33 is a world renowned design, despite how few were made. They are acredited with countless circumnavigations, including that of Robin Lee Graham. If you’re looking for a great bay boat with the option to head for blue water, you are looking for a Luders 33.

Circe is just as solid today as she was over 40 years ago. She is Coast Guard Documented, has been well maintained, but normal wear and tear of a boat this age can be expected. The deck paint is currently being redone with Awlgrip, but the hull paint could use some love. The 40 HP Westerbeke diesel runs strong and was just tuned. She comes with a mainsail, 150 headsail, a cut down jib for heavier winds and a storm jib all of which are in great condition.

This boat could never disappoint: Whether you are rowing out to her admiring her esthetics or in a blow and on the wheel, you will be proud that you own a beautiful Luders 33.
