About this Sailboat:
a ’68 Coronado 25 named ‘Spritzer’. Everything works. Just put a new antenna on the masthead. I’ve sailed it many times. I’m asking $3500. It has an Edson pedestal steering wheel with binnacle (over $1000.00 installed). The guy that owned it before didn’t like a tiller, so he had it professionally converted. Gear shift for the motor (a Nissan 8 outboard located in the engine well), has forward, reverse, neutral, as well as throttle, is on the pedestal making maneuvering very easy. Has a brand new boom vang. It has a lot of room for its size. I live on it. It’s very comfortable for me, and I’m a big guy. Headroom is only 5′ 3″, but it has an over sized wider hatch cover, and when it is open, the boat feels much bigger. Headroom is a non-issue with it open.
She’s in fair shape, needs some paint, some fixing up, but it sails well. Has a heavy displacement for its size. The keel bolts look corroded although I don’t think they are weakened from it. I’m planning to sister bolt the keel just for good measure.
I’m in Oklahoma, on Robert S. Kerr lake (reservoir), which is on the navigable Arkansas river, which leads to the Mississippi, and then to the Gulf of Mexico.
If you live on the ICW or Gulf or Atlantic coast, and are willing to pay the expenses, I’d be willing to sail/motor it to you.
