BOSTON WHITEHALL – GLORY A FANCY ROWBOAT / HANDCRAFTED

Floating works of art – built to last for generations. Boston Whitehall is renown for their seaworthiness in rough water, wind and waves. Designed w classic features and exquisite workmanshio w impeccable teak work and fine cast bronze fittings. Solid ash & mahogany sliding seat rig which fits into chocks that hold the foot braces.

Equipped w adjustable foot braces. Spruce chocks w mahogany foot boards. Hand turned sea post supports. Hand carved sliding seat on nylon rollerblade wheels, very smooth and quiet. Laminated bow stem w brass protective strip. Brass reinforced hole in stem for painter. Rails, trim & corner braces all clamped & epoxied in place, no screws used in construction of boat. Sliding seat rig is made of solid ash mahogany. Solid brass builders name plate. Spanish cedar transom w hand painted gold leaf name. Continuous brass protective shoe runs the entire length of the boat. Wine glass transom made w the “build down construction method”. Tapered ash gunnels inside and out fore & aft. One pair of Shaw & Tenney 8 ft spoon shaped spruce oars included.

Beautifully hand crafted vessel built by master woodworker. The original boat is in Mystic Seaport.
