Well equipped example of this popular Bill Dixon designed Moody sailing cruiser. Her blue hull and chery finished teak interior make her stand out from the standard production model and give her an even greater quality look and feel.
The Moody42 is based on the Moody 40 design with the transom lengthened giving larger lazarete lockers and increased space in the aft cabin. She has in-mast furling mainsail and furling genoa.
The forward cabin has two large single berths and double hanging locker. en-suite forward head, pressurized H&C water, marine toilet, shower and opening hatch. The salon has a U-shaped settee to port, and a second settee opposite to starboard, and a large folding leaf dining table. Navigation area has a large desk, electronics and electrical distribution panel, seat, and a nearby wet hanging locker.
The galley as a centerline section with twin SS sinks. Outboard section has separate refrigerator & freezer units, and 3 burner propane stove/oven.
A passage cabin with one mid-level berth is situated to port with access from Nav area, or the area can be used as a dresing area for the aft cabin. Aft head is accessed from galley or aft cabin and contains a separate shower stall, and vanity. The aft cabin incorporates a large large centerline double berth, locker, and a vanity desk on the forward bulkhead.
