Accommodations and comfort are important whether aboard for a weekend or a week or longer. This Hunter 340 has an interior that not only looks good and like new, but also works well. Two private, large staterooms along with the largest head with shower that you have ever seen in a boat of this size and, a salon that can seat eight plus a gourmet galley will keep your crew happy.
Equipment on Board:
The large cockpit has a substantial helm pod with SS grab rail, icebox and fold out tables. The helm pod also contains, wheel with brake, a fuel gauge, tachometer, VHF radio, pedestal compass, 12-volt accessory receptacle and courtesy light. The cockpit also includes; cockpit shower (hot and cold water), cockpit cushions, stern rail seats, manual bilge pump, fold back helm seat, 4-#30 self- tailing Lewmar winches on the coming, fold down telescoping SS swim ladder, knot, depth and wind meters, line and storage boxes, 12v DC with 2 batteries, 30amp 110 Volt AC cord, 20 amp battery charger, metal arch that maintains the mainsheet traveler overhead and out of the cockpit. Also on deck you will find the in-mast furling mainsail, solid boom vang, electric anchor winlass, RF jib, gated life lines, anchor and tackle.
The open and light galley is very clean and equipped with microwave, Force 10 2-burner propane gimbaled gas stove and oven, large storage access doors above the Corian counter, top loading refrigerator, deep double SS sink (with cutting board) and through counter built-in trash receptacle. She has a water heater and a pressure water system 75 gallon water tank.
The main salon is open and comfortable with a large settee and a highly polished table that lowers to form additional double berth. All of the fabrics look like new. Included are shades on all side windows. Fend off the afternoon summer heat with air conditioning (with reverse cycle heat). The Nav station to starboard has a hanging closet, AM/FM disc player. The speakers are flush mounted and the system sounds great.
There is a private V-berth with large opening overhead hatch. The louvered breezeway can be opened for added light. Ample shelves and closets keep the berth functional. The spacious aft cabin is private and has two hanging closets with the bed athwart ships. The head is complete with shower, fold down vanity mirror for storage and there is a large opening window for airflow, and also includes a wet locker. She has a marine head, holding tank with Macerator motor.
Auxiliary power is a Yanmar 27 HP diesel engine – with less than 100 hours and a 3 blade prop.
