About this Sailboat:
KIWI II is a development of New Zealander Richard Hartleys Trailer Sailer 21 design. A bowsprit was added to improve windward performance. The boat was purchased unfinished in 1995 sailed in 1996 on the Columbia River for 2 years and has been in storage until 2011 when it was refitted for sale. With a 7 11beam she has lots of room for her size. The North sails, with rolling furing 135% jib and 2 reef points on the main can handle any weather. The Navico Tillerpilot makes single handling easy. The multi-chine hull is plywood on mahogany frames; the deck is covered with Hypalon coated fabric. It comes with trailer and 14hp outboard.
