About this Sailboat:

Boat was purchased 3 years ago and began extensive renovations. Painting entire exterior and planning to redo interior floors wherever necessary. All nonskid areas are done and I’m in process of applying final coat of paint to smooth deck areas. Still need to do sides of hull. All hardware and lifelines must be reinstalled after final coat of paint on the deck. Bottom painted, new prop, engine realign and fuel tank cleaning were done when boat was purchased. Boat is in the water and the bottom is cleaned every month and reports are good on all conditions. Zinks hold up well, first one in three years replaced last month. Have redone much of the black water system and rebuilt steering. Other systems appear OK and functional. Purchased all new upholstery and bedding for interior. My intentions are to relocate batteries to bilge area and reseal and recover the floors in main salon for now. New rigging installed last summer when mast was reset all new wiring in the mast, new tricolor, new VHS antenna and new apparent wind indicator, new deck and motoring light. Radar bench tested and cleaned before reinstalling on mast. New lifelines purchased not installed yet. Not an easy boat to find in this price category. Includes enclosed trailer to store all parts and materials while renovations are being done. Fuel system was re-plumbed to allow for switch over if fuel filter gets plugged, never been an issue to date. No generator and no A/C, have 6 – 85watt solar panels to be installed. Intend to make boat 12 volt ready when out to sea or at mooring. New windows and hatches. Although I don’t want to part with the boat, there are two purchase options, either outright purchase by an interested party or half ownership / partnership. (Continued Below)

Equipment on Board:

Partner must live reasonably close, be married with family preferably over 55 and be mechanically inclined and capable of helping complete the project and take care of boat once finished. Plan is to complete and put boat either in the US or BVI or Bahamas or the Keys for extended vacations. My preference is the US or BVI’s or could be moved every year. Equipment: SSB,VHS,Sony Stereo, Radar, Garmin Plotter w/ GPS, Auto Pilot, Grill, Hand Held GPS and VHS radio’s, 6 solar panels, custom hardtop, jib, stay and mainsails, whisker pole, 9.4 dingy with 2 hp Honda 4 stroke, many little things, have to see it. 3 cabins, 2 heads.
