1989 Ericson 32-200

5 October, 2011 by EVAN

About this Sailboat:

The Ericson 32-200 is the second evolution of the 32 foot model built by the Irvine California company. Designed by Bruce King the 32-200 is an excellent light air performer and has an excellent cruising interior. Very few 32 boats can offer a teak 3 cabin interior as well executed as that of the Ericson 32-200. VALKYRIE is an exceptional example of the model and has been professionally maintained and has received many recent upgrades.

New Interior Cushions 2011
New Raymarine ST60 depth speed and wind 2011
New lifelines 2011
New Standing Rigging 2011
New Mast wiring 2011
New Cabin Sole 2011
New Quantum Jib 2007

This boat was trucked out of the Great lakes in 2000 and has been kept at a private residence at the head of the Severn River since. VALKYRIE is highly recommended and is priced for a quick sale. Owners are moving to the dark side and purchasing a powerboat.

Starting forward, there is a large v berth with filler. The main salon has a teak drop leaf table with port and starboard settees. The L shaped galley is located on the port side and has a gimbaled stove and stainless steel sink. The well insulated ice box with 12v refrigeration is cleverly hidden under the navigation desk on the starboard side. The head is located on the starboard side aft and has a shower. One of the virtues of this type of head placement is that it provides a good place to change out of foul weather gear without tracking salt water through the boat. There is a large double berth port and aft of the galley with a separate door for privacy. Engine access is gained by removing the companionway stairs.
