1988 Catalina 34

About this Sailboat:

hop aboard and go on this one. I have updated this 34 with everything you could need for cruising and more. If you want to coastal cruise or island hop this is the one for you. Looks and acts like a new boat. All creature comforts done and working.

Equipment on Board:

Standard is a 77 gallon fresh water system. (2 tanks,) 24 gal holding tank, 20 gallon fuel tank, gets about ½ gallon per hour at 6.5 kts. Wing keel , standard full battened main, 100 jib (colors) 150 Genoa, colors, spinnaker and pole. Autohelm Radar, new anchorlift Dolphin 1000 windlass and CQR anchor. Newer anchor line and rhode. 2 roller stainless steel bow pulpit with set up for 2 anchors each on a roller. Extra cleats on the bow and sides of the boat for midship docking. There are dinghy davits on the stern and a step through stern with folding ladder with step pads. Over the cockpit is a full 4 bow bimini and a dodger with cover. There is a bow sunshade. All gel batteries, 1 start and 2 house, The sailing system is the new Tack tick wireless complete system with wind speed, boat speed, wind direction, depth, compass and all the data needed for racing or soft cruising. There is a newer X-5 Autohelm by RayMarine.that will let the boat steer for you. There is a raymarine GPS chartplotter and compass and antenna. Below is a link pro battery monitoring system so you know how much battery power is left. There is a newer 40 amp Xantrex battery charger for shore power and a high output alternator for charging at anchor or on the way. Full shore power cords. Separate shore power for AC system, A flagship 16000 btu heat and cool air conditioner. There is a large Alden Barber refrigerator system that makes ice. Mainsail has a Doyle Stackpack and lazy jack system. Full battened main so easy to set. There is an automatic and a manual bilge pump. Red night time nav light at chart table. Newer fluorescent lights in cabin. There is a 2 burner propane stove with oven and gimbaled. The anchor light is new LED with day off and night on when switched on. Night time spreader light. The motor is the standard Westerbeake 25 XP and runs very well. motors 6 to 7 kts with clean prop and bottom. Has starter solenoid for easy starting. Standard 3 blade prop. Drip less shaft seal system installed 3 yrs ago. (Lasdrop) Head is standard but a newer Jobsco toliet installed. There is a fresh water cockpit shower and shower in the head and a salt water wash down in the anchor locker. A new boomkicker was installed recently and topping lift eliminated. Radio is Uniden color with separate wireless remote mic. Weems and Plath clock and bartometer. Separate forward digital depthsounder reads in cockpit as backup. There is a tufted topper mattress for soft overnights in the largest v birth in its class. Teak cockpit floorboards. This boat has been well cared for and will give the next owner years of service. Why pay more than double for the same hull and then add all the equipment yourself? this one is done. Everything in good working order. Get on, motor out, raise sail and go. Time marches on and we are Moving off sail and onto a trawler.
