About this Sailboat:

Accomodations & Walk Through
We offer our much loved and sailed P27, Free At Last for sale to someone who will love and sail her as much (or more) than we have. She features 6 ft. interior headroom, an enclosed aft cabin that sleeps two comfortably, an enclosed head with shower, and a dinette that converts to a spacious V-berth.

Starting forward, we have a dinette (with storage under the seats) that seats 6. The table drops to convert to a spacious V-berth that sleeps 2 very comfortably. There is a large hatch overhead with new light bronze plexi (2009). Pearson originally had a carpet headliner on the inside of the hull. We removed and replaced it with rich cherry interior panels. Original fluorescent lighting has been replaced with low voltage, bright white, LED lighting. Stereo speakers are mounted in the vee. There is good storage under the seats, and the through the hull transducer is on the starboard side.

The galley is to port with a single stainless sink, pressure water, a double Origo alcohol stove and a shelf above. Galley storage is below with a double sized pantry with a shelf. Low voltage LED lighting provides bright white light for the workspace. The headliner here was replaced with a StarBoard panel that is moisture resistant and easy to clean
To starboard are a very spacious icebox and the navigation table / station. A map holder is mounted on the front of the icebox. Above is the VHF, breaker panel and new ipod compatible Kenwood stereo.

Equipment on Board:

On deck, all lines lead to the cockpit for easy single-handed sailing. A Garmin GPS is mounted on the binnacle above the compass. The Raymarine Autohelm mounts on the starboard side. A custom StarBoard and teak bench makes for comfortable time at the wheel. Datamarine speed & depth gauge are mounted to the port side of the companionway (the depth gauge does not work – the Garmin GPS has a bottom finder with a through the hull transducer). The plastic on the binnacle compass is crazed, there is also a compass on the starboard side of the companionway. The Kenwood stereo has controls on the starboard side of the companionway.

Mainsail (new 2010) with cover, 120% roller furled genoa in fair condition, internal main halyard, 2 Lewmar #30 self tailing sheet winches, single Lewmar #8 winch for the halyard, lazy jack system

Stainless steel boarding ladder, Bimini & dodger (2009), cockpit cushions (re-covered 2009), Danforth anchor with chain and nylon rode, compass mounted to the starboard side of the companionway. Radar reflector mounted on backstay. Two fire extinguishers mounted to port & starboard in cabin.
