1986 Beneteau Idylle

18 October, 2012 by EVAN

About this Sailboat:

Vimsong is a 1986 Beneteau Idylle 13.5 designed by German Frers and built in France. The Idylle series offers a deeper v-hull and a modified fin keel resulting in a very sea kindly ride and comfortable passages. The hull allows a large aft cabin and still maintains a very dry aft cockpit. The sails and rigging are designed to be handled either by a couple or single handed with autopilot assistance.

The interior has a functional, pleasing layout with 6’3″ headroom. A skylight in the salon, galley area provides exceptional light. Fore and aft staterooms offer private accommodations for two couples and the dining table can seat six adults comfortably.

The cockpit has a folding table for entertaining guests at the dock or at anchor. The center section of the transom hinges downward as a swimming ladder for easy access to and from the water.
