About this Sailboat:
This is without a doubt one of the best Irwin 38 cruisers on the market today and one of the best cruising values under $100k on the market today.. The owner (professional captain) has taken meticulous care of her and it shows throughout the boat. Comments that people use are “beautiful, bristol, wow!” The boat has been located on the upper Chesapeake Bay for the last fifteen years. Although she’s seriously for sale, we’re making one last trip south for the winter and she’ll return to Chesapeake Bay early spring, unless she sells while we are down south.
The Irwin 38s floor plan is wonderfully done. There is plenty of privacy, elbow room and storage. She even has Air Conditioning/ heat. She is cutter rig but we sail her as a sloop (staysail and boom in storage). She is comfortable, safe, and easy to sail. You will thoroughly enjoy her. She is ready for cruising and/or liveaboard!
