1984 Beneteau First 42

Added 13 January, 2013

About this Sailboat:

Yaquina is that rare combination of a Bermuda ready racer for the next One-Two and comfortable performance short-handed distance passage maker and cruiser. This Frers design is a veteran of multiple Bermuda races under the names Thriller and Halcyon. Loaded now with newer electronics and offshore cruising and racing equipment. The interior sleeps 7-8 people in a warm and inviting varnished teak cabin which is airy and bright.

Equipment on Board:

Well equipped, Yaquina has a recent vintage Raymarine C120W Hybrid Touch color chart plotter, 4 kw Digital HD radar, updated sailing instruments well located in the cockpit, custom stronger linear drive autopilot, VHF, SSB, radar detector, second Garmin GPS and much more. Cruising equipment includes Grunert hold-over refrigerator, propane stove, two anchors with rodes and lots of sails. Everything you want on deck includes winches where you want them, heavy duty genoa furler, genoa tracks with adjustable cars, baby stay, hydraulic backstay, and running backstays for mast shape, and a nice deep cockpit.

If a deep draft performance cruiser is what you want, call today for an appointment to see this storied and desirable racer/cruiser. Represented by Mark Edwards, Cape Yachts, (# removed) and medwards@cape-yachts.com
