About this Sailboat:

Safe, comfortable, family-friendly sailboat! According to sailquest.com , the Bayfield 25 “fits many people’s definition of a true pocket cruising sailboat. It has a miniature bowsprit and shoal draft full-keel, and it comes complete with a diesel engine and very livable interior with standing headroom”.

Added dodger, new mainsail, chartplotter in 2002; teak refinished 2009; bottom done with Micron CSC in 2010. Boat is currently at Gilford on Lake Simcoe.

Equipment on Board:

Basic Specs. Sleeps 4 in 2 cabins w. private marine head; Engine: Yanmar Diesel, 1GM; Displ.: 4,300 lb; Sail Area: 240 sq. ft.; 20 gal water and holding tanks; 12 v electrical w. outlets, cabin lights, fan, bilge blower, horn.; ice box w. drain; alcohol stove; galley and vanity sinks w. foot/hand pumps; 4 Lewmar winches, all lines lead aft. Electronics – GPS chartplotter w. local area chart, compass, depth sounder, knott meter, VHF, autohelm, AM/FM Cassette Dodger – linen color sunbrella by Genco (new ’02) Sails – 1 main (new ’02), 1 jib, 1 genoa, bags and covers, all rigging in good condition. Other – all safety equipment incl radar reflector, tow line, life jackets; engine manual and tools; danforth and sea anchor; fenders, lines, boat hook; shore power cable; steel cradle; custom aluminum derrick to raise/lower mast; winter/summer companionway doors.
