About this Sailboat:
The Mason 43 is an awesome offshore cruiser. This yacht is maintained in ready-to-go condition, and we actively sail her.
We (two adults, three children) lived aboard and sailed Canto on a 3 year sabbatical back in 2000, covering the East Coast from Maine to the Dominican Republic.
Canto sails like a witch, and so we spend quite a bit of time sailing rather than motoring.
The split cabin aft (Canto is aft cockpit, but also has a functional aft cabin) is perfect for two or three children, but also makes a fine master cabin.
This is the yacht for a cruising family, or even for just a couple wanting the space a 43 foot sailboat has to offer. Canto is a solid, sea-kindly, and capable yacht. If you’re interested, send us an email.
