J-30 Racing Saiilboat One Design – Special Racing Version
Two time J30 National Champion!! Racer/cruising sailing keel boat developed to provide more confort for coastal cruising while maintaining a high level of sailing performance – which makes for a competitive racer. Rod Johnstone designed the J/30 in 1979 and it ceased production with hull #3545 in 1986.
This J/30 is hull #100 – special racing version one design. Two time J/30 national champion and 2008 Hudson River YRA PghRF champion A fleet with 11 types of boats w 5 regattas, 3rd in 2011.

Well built racer, fin keel, fiberglass hull w new in 2008 hall mast and running rigging – $10,000 Harken Mark 2 Furler: $20,000 North Sail #1 mylar Genoa: $2,000 Autohelm 2000 w remote: $1,000 Dodger and 3 suits of sails, B&G depth finder, knot meter, GPS, VHF, Spinlock Hardvang, two Danforth anchors and Dodger. In addition, equipped w 8′ Dinghy in fair condition and jack boat stands.
