The vessel is easily managed by a couple or single-handed. She is an ideal and near perfect cruising vessel. Since her original launching, the vessel has undergone three major re-fits as well as recently (2009) installed new teak decks and a completely new Raytheon navigation package(2009)
One of the finest cruising vessels ever built with all the necessary gear and equipment for blue water or coastal cruising. All interior areas are beautifully appointed in Thai and Burma teak. The sole is teak and holly. The upper portions of the interior above deck level are finished in white woodwork with teak trim, the overhead is a white liner with teak deck beams in the Herreschoff tradition for a very comfortable nautical look.
Popular center cockpit yacht, with Forward Private Guest cabin (sleeps 2), and large Private Owners Cabin Aft (sleeps 2). Plus dinette area in the Main Saloon converts to a double berth (sleeps 2) and the opposite settee berth sleeps (1). A pilot berth midships is currently used to house storage bins for the spare parts inventory. Headroom throughout is 63 (1.90m) with the exception of the pass through to the aft cabin.
