About this Sailboat:
Imagine yourself on a weekend sail in one of the best cruising sailboats built the Frank Butler designed Catalina 27! The Catalina design combines high performance with comfortable cruising without sacrificing one for the other. With a little work this dream could be yours; well, ok, more than a little this is a project boat. I bought the boat four years ago and never found the time for the different projects and it has sat in dry dock. This boat has never seen salt water, but has sailed the fresh water lakes of Minnesota. Projects include a split along the seam of the rudder; replacement of all the stanchions and lifelines (set of new stanchions included, two of the existing require some fiberglass work on the deck;) and a quarter inch hole drilled in the hull (I did not do this!) The engine has not been tested, nor has the electrical as I have not had it in the water since owning it; actually, the previous owner did not have it in the water either so it has not been in any water for at least seven years. The bottom is in good shape, except for the tiny hole, and the gel coat looks good with some sun cracking. The sails are in good to very good shape. The boat is white with a blue bottom and black mast and boom. Second Wind could be yours, and with a three-axle trailer included, you can take her anywhere. The boat is currently located in Durango, Colorado.
