About this Sailboat:

The Tartan 27 was one of Sparkman and Stevens first fiberglass boat designs. She is equipped with a Edson Wheel and a Garmin 178C GPS chart plotter and depth finder (2005). She is a full keeled centerboard sloop designed for coastal sailing. Below deck, amenities include sleeping space for 4, split between the main cabin and the forward V-berth, with 5 inch thick cushions purchased in 2004. Also included is a private head and a galley with icebox, two burner alcohol stove, and sink. Reasonable storage space and ventilation as well as natural light and 6’ headroom throughout.

Mechanical Features • 1976 30 HP Atomic 4 Gas Engine #194899 • Fuel Capacity: 21 Gal • Water: 20 Gal new tank (2006) • Prop Type: 2 Blade Meliora is equipped with her original atomic four gasoline engine. A 120 F thermostat was added in 2006. A new water pump was installed in 2006. Ignition wires replaced in 2004, along with coil and new electronic ignition. Mechanical fuel pump replaced by electrical fuel pump, with emergency cut off and new hoses as well as carburetor in 2002. Exhaust line and water lift replaced in 2001. New 120 A alternator installed in 2005. New oil pressure temperature sensors 2006. The fuel tank and lines are all in excellent condition. Harken Roller furling, 1 genoa, 1 main sail, binnacle compass, lots of pfd’s, vhf radio, swim ladder, plow anchor.
