About this Sailboat:
This is one of the most popular weekend cruisers ever manufactured and clean mid 70’s construction is highly sought after for its rock solid attributes. The layout is spacious for her size, very comfortable and cozy for extended weekend stays/cruises. Interior layout is rare for this model featuring mid-ship galley and very roomy dinette with full-length aft 1/4 berths.
Recent haul out (09/09/2011) revealed no blisters or defects below waterline. New epoxy bottom paint with biocide added (2 coats) and all lights inside and out upgraded to super bright low amp draw LED’s. Boat and paint above and below rub-rail is exceptional and defect free! Very clean and classy looking “Flag Blue hull with Hatteras White topside. She gets many compliments…sure to make you proud! Forward V berth, mid-ship collapsible dinette berth, 2 aft 1/4 berths, could technically sleep 6 adults. I have spent many enjoyable weekends on her in complete comfort.
New main sail has only been deployed 4 times. Head sails are in fair to good condition. New 4 stroke gas OB is very quiet and efficient; uses less than 5 gallons of gas per year for normal day sails as half throttle is all that is required to reach hull speed. High thrust “sail drive” prop offer more power than she will ever need. *Please note: interior upgrades have been made since these photos were taken. Don’t let this exceptional C27 get away!
