About this Sailboat:
Price reduced for quick sale!! 1976 Cal 2-27 sailboat for sale. This is a great small cruising sailboat or liveaboard for the Keys. Length over all: 26’7″, beam: 9’3″, draft: 4’3″. This boat can sleep 4 people in 2 cabins with a V-berth up front and 2 settees in the salon. The 20 hp Yanmar diesel engine (2QM20) starts easily, runs well, and is very fuel efficient. With the 13 gal Todd diesel tank you have plenty of range and can run for several days without refueling. The boat sails well with the mainsail (fair condition) and the large Genoa on a Profurl roller furling (good shape). I have sailed at a little over 6 knots on a beam reach with about 15 knot winds. An 80 watt solar panel keeps the 2 house batteries charged so you don’t have to run the engine just for recharging. The inverter allows you to charge your phone, laptop, tools, or other devices. The freshwater tank holds 20 gallons. The marine head is a Jabsco and is plumbed to a Y-valve that allows you to pump overboard or into a 9 gal waste holding tank for later pump out.
