About this Sailboat:
This is a very desirable “Tall” or “Comp” rig with the shorter beefier boom, taller mast and deeper, heavier keel. She is very stable and forgiving. Practical Sailor, Crusing World and Good Old Boat rate the Tartan 30 as one of the best buys in a classic yacht. She has been lovingly maintained and continually upgraded.
**We found a leak in the cabintop last fall around the engine vent cowl area. It has been repaired with epoxy, but there is still moisture inside the core. Deck is still solid, but will fail the moisture meter test. I have pics of the repair.
MEANDER has six berths, two in the V-berth, two in the main salon and two quarter berths. She has 6′ headroom throughout.
