About this Sailboat:

For sale 44 ft. cutter rigged fiberglass sloop. This boat was built in 1975 by Islander shipyard in southern Cal. Designed by Alan Gurney of “Windward Passage” fame. The boat is 44′ x 13′ 4″ x 7′ 5″, mast ht. 60′ from water line, 13 tons displacement, external lead ballast 5 tons on fin keel, original ballast to displace ratio 49% waterline length 36′. Working sail area, full batten main 400 sq. ft. Head sail on PROFURL rolling 700 sq. ft. Hull speed 8 kts. Moves very well light and in trade wind sailing, expect 2 to 3 degrees per day, of course this depends on sea state, but I have had many 200 mile days off the wind.
